Tasting Room in a Box Deal - 35% Off on McFadden Sampler Case

As I mentioned in yesterday's post about Yorkville Cellars (and their 50% off sale through Dec. 5), holiday shopping for wines is easiest when you shop at a winery that raises nothing but organically grown wines. McFadden Vineyard is another such winery - and they're offering some incredible holiday specials right now.

The best special right now is the case deal:

2009 Chardonnay
2010 Pinot Gris
2009 Sauvignon Blanc
2009 Gewurztraminer
2009 Riesling
2006 Library Riesling
2007 Pinot Noir
2008 Zinfandel
2009 Old Vine Zinfandel
2007 Coro Mendocino
2008 Coro Mendocino
NV (2009) Sparkling Brut

(I myself have bought 5 cases of the beauteous Brut which comes in handy for any occasion).

Here's a selection of my photos from visiting their tasting room and touring the vineyard with Guiness McFadden earlier this year.

Normally the sampler case is $267, but it's 35% off = $173 for wine club members. (It's really a good idea to become a member - often you can customize your own selections - if you want. They are usually pretty flexible on working with you on your preferences and the discounts are hefty throughout the course of the year). Non members pay $240 for the sampler case.

To order, visit the site at www.mcfaddenvineyard.com.

But wait - that's not all.

They also have a variety of really beautiful organic, herbal swags and wreaths for sale, along with their organic herbs, as well. The wreaths and herbs are on sale at McFaddenFarms.com.

And, if you go there in person, you can also pick up some farm-raised, grass fed beef from the freezer case in the tasting room.

Here's a great short interview with Guiness McFadden about his vineyard and farm.
